Today I went to a kiddie parade celebrating Earth Day. The parade was fairly small and definitely a small town feel. There were no floats, just people walking with their kids dressed up in cute animal costumes!
BONUS
As this is The Solitary Panda blog after all, I like to spot panda-related imagery to post. The only panda I managed to spot didn't have his panda head on! So I flipped the picture.

Omigosh, too cute! I think the group of frogs -- especially the pouty one -- is my fave!
Oh wow. I'd take this over floats any day.
I can understand the choices of animal here except for one: the rooster. I've never found them to be cute, intriguing, badass, or anything other than the silhouette that makes noise at sunrise in the countryside. Maybe it's just that I never liked Foghorn Leghorn.
Awww..they're adorable! Love the last one with the panda! My little boy will love that:)
That was a surprise!
Lovely critters. :)
wow, lovely critter costume!
My favorite Camera Critter shots so far this weekend! Adorable.

Thanks for stopping by.
A clever Camera Critters post full of cuteness!
My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
When I was a kid my mom always dresses me like that for some occassions thatyou have to dress up in costumes. I remember I was a pink pig. Sad.
(Hang on, I'm laughing hysterically at the Lolita's comment...okay done)
I liked the 2nd picture! Was that an Asian kid? LOL!
adorable!!! these are the reasons why i love being a preschool teacher...my kids dress up like this too!!! cute post!!
oh...im glad i stumbled into your blog...i was looking for a pet meme!
Cute...just like your blog n your writings.Took me back 2 my early childhood days.Reminded me of a strange incident...when I used to leave school after the last bell with my friends I used to see kids who had just been admitted....boys n girls all walking 2gether arm in arm to form a long human chain. They knew no gender biases...they were all friends n that's what mattered the most to them.Yet we in the 12th grade could hardly imagine doing that. There were different pockets for boys n girls to hang out....a bit of gender discrimination and when a boy is seen out with a girl, they are tagged as a romantic couple even if they r just friends. Why can't we be like those kids forming a looong human chain?Because we know more than them.....I'd rather be ignorant if that doesn't spoil my simplicity!
Very, very adorable! You're right! Thanks for sharing!
Oh hahaha cuteness overload!!!
I have a pretty weird question. Are you Panda like I'm a koala - because you feel like it, like 'if I were an animal I would be..." or is there some deeper meaning to it. I ask cause I've seen more bloggers with a panda in their nick.
Floreta: What a cute idea to dress them up as critters.
Well, I am glad for the warning because yes, these are uber sweet!!
I cannot help awwwwing every single photo!!
Kids & animals all wrapped up into one package...couldn't be cuter!! Great post!!
An excellent, oh so cute post!
I think I should join in this parade. I could snuggle right up into the lion's lap:)
I just noticed your new header. It's lovely!
Why didn't you go to this parade wearing a panda costume?
Oh, right...you're not a kid. Lol.
